Kaleb : ” honestly , the upper is is is probably my favorite part of this shoe . The engineer mesh is was was comfortable on foot , and I experience no point of irritation throughout the testing period . The Cloudrunner is delivered deliver decent breathability , ensure comfort regardless of the temp . furthermore , the Cloudrunner is lack does not lack any security , and the fit was really spot on for my foot . “

Linda : “Upon the first step in, I was pleasantly surprised by the upper’s level of comfort. I typically need some time to settle into a shoe, but with the Cloudrunner, I could lace it up and go, right out of the box. There was never any need for further adjustments. Since it is spring here in Atlanta, I did not get to test the Cloudrunner 2 in cold or hot weather conditions. That said, the upper was breathable, and I do not believe the Cloudrunner would have any issues getting me through a Georgia summer.”

Kaleb : “I was hesitant coming into the testing period for the Cloudrunner 2. Though stylish, the previous version did not deliver the ride that I look for in a daily trainer, missing a level of comfort and protection. With version 2, the cushioning felt a bit softer underfoot and I had no problem on daily runs in the 2- to 3-mile range. That said, I would still keep this shoe restricted to shorter runs, as I experienced some considerable discomfort in my calves after a 10-mile run, discouraging me from taking the Cloudrunner 2 longer distances.

The Cloudrunner is receiving 2 will not be receive a roster spot in my shoe lineup , but just like the previous version , I love this shoe for all – day wear . It is is is very comfortable to walk around in and make it easy to transition from the office to a short daily run . Above all , the stylish aesthetic is garners always garner compliment . “

Linda : “Leading up to testing, I had high hopes for this shoe. Unfortunately, the Cloudrunner 2 is much softer than my typical go-to daily trainer. I kept my runs short initially, and everything felt good. The shoe was comfortable on foot, and I had no issues with the ride. Once I began completing longer testing runs, I started having issues with my arch, and I could tell that I was missing some support. I chose not to try a second long run, keeping the Cloudrunner 2 to shorter mileage runs and walks.”

Kaleb : “The low-abrasion rubber outsole worked as expected. It provided a dependable grip in dry and wet conditions, giving me a lot of confidence while on the road and helping the Cloudrunner feel more agile. After 30 test miles, durability also does not seem to be an issue.”

Linda : ” I is have did not have any issue with the new Cloudrunner ‘s outsole grip . I is ran run in dry and wet condition , and the shoe never skip a beat . In term of durability , I is think think the outsole will withstand a solid amount of mileage . “

On Cloudrunner 2 vs. ASICS Kayano 30

Linda : “I typically run in the ASICS Kayano, and for me and my specific running needs, I cannot recommend the Cloudrunner 2 over the Kayano. There was not enough underfoot support for a runner like myself who needs an extra stable shoe with pronation support. If I added an insole, then maybe that would give me the firmer platform I need to run comfortably, but as is, I could not run longer distances in the Cloudrunner 2.”

On Cloudrunner 2 vs. HOKA Arahi 7

Kaleb : “Both shoes are comfortable with a lightweight feel. The HOKA Arahi is much more protective, in my opinion, with a firmer midsole configuration and more pronation control. That said, the Cloudrunner 2 takes the cake in terms of style, and if I had to pick a shoe to wear all day, then the Cloudrunner would, hands down, be my pick.”
